Thanks, y'all. I was already 99% certain about telling him to screw off, but just needed a little external validation... When you're stuck on the one you can't have you kinda start looking for reasons all the rest aren't good enough. I think I'm gonna wait until tomorrow to talk to him again. At that point my pickup truck will be stealthily hidden in the parking lot at work and my happy ((shrinking)) ass will be in Chicago again for a week. Not that I'm paranoid he'll freak out, but just as an added precaution.

That SOB called me today to see if I was feeling better.

Told me that I hurt his feelings by not coming over last night. Even though he thinks I was up heaving until 4am. He said I should have come over anyway and he would have pampered me.

I told him I was still sick and wanted to go back to bed, and he offers to bring me soup. No thanks, I can’t keep anything down. Tells me if I need anything, to feel free to call him at any hour he’ll come to my rescue. I say ok. He says have a good night. I say ok. He says.....

I can both empathize and sympathize. I've been stalked on perhaps three occasions, though only once to a degree that warranted taking fairly strenuous measures (a restraining order and a visit to the stalker by four large male friends.)

In one case, the stalker was female, a "butch" lesbian, who cured herself after I explained that, though I am a bisexual girl I preferred feminine women, one real man, and one eunuch (you should have seen her face when I said that!) and, besides, I was "spoken for" (Well, pretty much. See: Ash[leigh], a couple of Koven ladies, Lt-Col and Mrs BigGuy, and Barry T. Eunuch.).
