For me it was 3 or 4 times a day at least sometimes more. I use to do it to the point of getting raw. On top of that I looked at porn on the average of 2 hours a day. I wasted a lot of time and missed out on a lot of needed sleep. It even caused me to be late for work or other assorted appointments. There are a couple of factors that play a role in the frequency of masturbation. They are age and T levels (and usually younger age equals higher T levels, which may be the primary factor).

It is not at all uncommon for a male in his teens and early 20s to masturbate multiple times daily. Outside of that age group, more than once daily and even daily may be not as common, but it depends on T levels and how else you are getting sexual satisfaction.

Although I started late (not till 16), I did it frequently once I started. Usually twice a day, occasionally three. Longest I ever went without was 2 weeks (that was during a religious kick). This continued until my surgery at age 20.

I've always suspected that my drive may have been a bit higher than normal even given my age. Looking at my body pre surgery, it was likely I had pretty high T levels. High T levels tend to suggest high sex drive. And while most young men have higher T levels than most older men, there is variation even among young guys, and not all have the highest levels possible.

I'd say as long as it doesn't interfere with your life or get you in trouble, have fun.

Although I hit puberty at eleven and by the time I was twelve, it seemed that I had an erection most of the time, I didn't learn about jacking off until I was fourteen. My only regret is that I didn't learn how to do it earlier. Three wasted years that I could have been jacking off. Once I learned how, I doubt a day passed that I didn't jack off, but once or twice a day was usually enough for me.
