Castration by twisting testicles inside sac
I searched the forums and couldn't find any posts and also didn't think this fit in chemical or surgical castration so I posted here. Feel free to move it if it is in the wrong area.
What are your thoughts about taking the individual testicles and rotating them in say a clockwise (or counter clockwise) direction which should twist the cord and blood vessels into a state that is closed. Would this be the same thing as banding except not destroying the sac as well?
I remember my brother had to go to the doctor once because one of his testicles got twisted and he said it got swollen as big as a grapefruit (may have been exaggerating).
Thoughts?

What you are describing is essentially a testicular torsion. They sometimes occur spontaneously, and are usually cause for immediate emergency surgery to correct. They are extremely painful.

This technique is actually used on animals. The Henderson castration tool is a clamp which has a handle that fits the chuck of an electric drill. Set the clamp, start the drill, ... I believe that the actual use is to run the drill til the cord and connective tissue separate and the testicle comes off.

They are extremely painful.
I can attest to that - and with the hospital system the way it is here, the surgery and after care was worse!

Somewhere I once saw some info on testicular torsion. I beleive it was a Yahoo! castration group but don't really recall. There was mention there of a device to be chucked in a portable drill for doing cattle and sheep that way.
Maybe someone will happen upon that site someday to verify my lunacy.

Not long ago if you entered "Castrating Horses" on Google Advanced Search, you would have been able to watch a video showing the procedure described above. Unsure how much it distressed the horses, which, after being gelded in this way, just scrambled to their feet and ambled off.

Yes there is a tool to do as described. There is one thing when doing it to an animal and another thing doing it to a human. The little factor is that you are not an animal. Your sack and balls are far different. Just think how different the skin of a horse is compared to our own. Think you see very difference in thickness. If you take spurs to a horse. You see much pain as compared to a human with the same pressure?
The device turns the sack around and not the individual ball. Try to twist you sack around 2 times and tell me that it dose not hurt. Now turn it a third time. Does it not hurt more. Now turn it a forth time. Bet you can not turn it a full 4 times. Now the device will turn it maybe 20 or more times till it will twist off the sack and balls. That has to hurt big time. Will hurt till all the nerve endings die in time. How long will that take days weeks. I am not a horse.

Is this the technique in question? (http://technorati.com/videos/youtube.co ... K3_qIJxw20)
To me it looks more like a form of torture than it does a medical procedure, but if anyone wants to try it, please dial 911 first..... wait until you can hear the sirens, and then go for it.
But seriously, no don't do it
