Will penis size return after stopping androcur?

Post by Vpapor81 (imported) »

Hi All,

I have read some of your posts about how your penis shrinks on Androcur. I also read that Androcur results are reversible upon discontinuation but am wondering will my penis size return to normal? Also will wet dreams stop on androcur? Thanks

On androcur, my experience is that the penis shrinks. Mine went fron 4.5 to 3.5 inches hard. I have heard is is due to lack of erections. Maybe so, maybe not. After stopping androcur after taking for a few years the erections eventually reapperared in a couple of months. Penis is still small and I am going back on Androcur. Hope this info helps.

This is one to those "your mileage my vary" things. With some there will not be any change after and with some the shrinkage will not be reversible. This also related to how long your have been taking Androcur before you stop. For some all the changes will start to become non-reversible much sooner than others.

Being on androcur for months it should be reversible. But when on for years it is a different story. It may or may not return. Vacuum pumps may help restore some of the lost size if used over time.

are the effects of chemical castration ocurring faster if the person is younger (like the effects of estrogen)?

The effects might show up faster and feel stronger because you have more Testosterone when you are young and less when you are old. So the drop to low levels is more drastic when you are younger.

This is more complex than just that statement.

It's a different matter if your body is not yet adult. The transition occurs around 19 to 22 years old and it's not simply the growth you can feel or see. It's an internal signal. high school kids who take steroids to bulk up stop growing taller because the steroids they take turn off the growth mechanisms in the body.

I have not noticed any difference in penis size, nor has my wife. Next month it will be two years that I have been taking Androcur / Siterone.

Do you have other effects of the drug? Are you having problems getting an erection or keeping an erection? Did you get the hot flashes, loss of muscle mass and strength? If you have not noticed major changes then you may not be on a strong enough dose of androcur. That could explain no change in penis size.

Not so !!, if you have read my other posts, I have been through all that when I began taking Siterone at 50mg. I have stopped losing hair, have gained weight, lost a lot of muscle mass and strength, still do not get night time erections [ever], I have achieved what I set out to achieve, which was to stop being a chronic masturbator who enjoyed his orgasms way to much to be satisfied with sex 3 times a week. Now I still have sex 3 times a week, always instigated by my wife, who with her skill and love gets me hard and able to make love with satisfaction. This is what I set out to do. As with most people taking androcur / siterone, I too began at a high level, now am at 50mg and recently gone to 25mg as a trial and it appears to work well. As I said earlier, next month will be two years on Siterone. I am certain my body has equalized at a very low 'T' level and I no longer have to have a high dose, not to mention the age factor may be helping also in 'T' depletion. I am 49 years old. I hope this helps some people.
