Have any of you read The Illuminati Manifesto?
If so, what do you think of it?
I just read it and I am very puzzled by its irony.
Thanx!
God bless

Re: Question
Actually, there is very little new in this volume. All it does is to expose the frailties of humans and how religion gets corrupted in the pursuit of power. This applies in almost equal measure to Christianity, Judaism and Islam.
Similar exposes could be written about most of the major religions. From what I have read on this subject only Buddhism and possibly Taoism could be considered to be relatively clean.
Having looked at a number of religions I not been able to find anything which I could embrace and find it easier to live a 'godless' life.
May your particular god go with you.

Re: Question
Actually, each of us has a measure of divinity. We see it in the way that we deal with others. Think of all the best things that mankind has to offer and that should be your concept of God and divinity.
And, we are all human. (Even if some, just barely
)
The problem is when the concept of perfection must be formulated and administered by so many flawed individuals.
At any rate, the key here is to try not to hurt other people and in doing so try not to hurt yourself.
Religion is best when used to control one's self, not others.

Re: Question
I myself believe a good choice for either religion or religion alternatives is either some form of ninjutsu as taught by Hatsumi soke of The Bujinkan Dojo or some form of white witchcraft.
All of which have the basic rule "Do as you wish as long as no harm befalls any other living being because of it" In other words respect all life because you have life just like anything else does and as it may be easy to take life away from them so it is with you.
