I am willing to help this board. Both financially and with my time and talent .

Although my logon shows me as a new member, I have been around for quite a while.

I do want to know exacty what the problem is.

Many of the stories I do not care for. Pure and simple. But, I consider the board to have value above and beyond the content of some of the stories I do not care for.

The board has helped me a lot and I am greatful.

Once again, the EA isn't closing.

This isn't a problem, we're not closing half the site, we aren't moving servers, put all the thoughts of disaster out of your head.

OH YEAH? That sounds curiously like the famous line... "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!!"

So, now that the FALSE rumor that "the EA is closing" has been started, it is inevitable and unavoidable that it will be circulated, exaggerated, over-blown, and ultmately believed over any truth that could be put forth. I think the best thing to do at this point is to send every EA member an e-mail announcing that the EA is CLOSED, permanently.... but that a new and different web-site is now up and running, with the exact same url, all the same content, but now it is controlled by space aliens working for the government conspiracy... and we all need to get those tin foil helmets on!
