I am considering trying out chemical castration to feel the effects for myself as you advise. What drug do you suggest and where can I get it? Btw I live in the uk.

Androcur / Cyproterone Acetate / Siterone oral tablets - better results, more expensive

Depo-Provera injections - also well-regarded

Spironolactone / Aldactone oral tablets - weaker anti-androgen, very inexpensive

I think I probably will end up going for surgical castration in the end but I first want/need to try chemical castration first.

Here is, probably the most useful thread about the medications and protocols for chemical castration: http://www.eunuch.org/forums/showthread ... feminizing

As for the Germany - it is a bit more difficult. As far, as I remember, there were problems at least with inhouse pharmacy, due to customs in Germany.

Probably others will correct me on this.

PS. Use the search, it works, and you can find other's experiences, this was discussed more than once on the boards.

The link does not work. :( I can tell you having injected lactic acid into my testicles that it is not the way to go.

Ulcerations to scrotum, pain, infection. The testicles also melted into the walls of the scrotum and had to be scraped out. Yes acid for castration is not a good thing. BoyEunuch

I have decided to take your advice.

Where do I start though?

To have a trial run. exactly where do I get the medicine? Online? Pharmacy? I am from Sydney Australia so what would be the best and safest way to go?

What drug is the most appropriate to turn off my libido?

It seems to me that there should be some discussion about motivations for castration - and this would have some considerable effect on how one goes about a chemical castration trial. If one's objective is to become feminized, then antiandrogen drugs might not be so suitable - but I am a total newbie here so I may be dead wrong. I personally am curious about castration for reducing the risk of prostate cancer - I am older and not concerned about loss of libido (in fact, since my wife is post-menopausal and has about zero libido herself, a loss of libido might be an advantage). But I am concerned about the potential loss of muscle mass - and a trial chemical castration would not necessarily help me learn about that. I have read about enzalutamide and bicalutamide which are relatively safe antiandrogens used for treatment of prostate cancer - anyone have experience with these? Is anyone even reading this? The site seems quiet . . .

Bicalutamide is a non-steroidal potent pure antiandrogen, I´ve used but for me It was not the most suitable as I´m mtF. bicalutamide It´s a pure potent blocker that binds to the Androgen receptor but does not reduce its production and does not cross the blood-brain barrier apparently, so It´s more unlikely to make drop the libido. , You can research in the net a study where they used dutasteride and bicalutamide combined for prostate. Once saw this study but did not save in my computer.

In my experience bicalutamide did not reduce my libido, and I did not see good results in regards blocking testosterone either. I need to remark that I used for short -term and in medium dosage. when used for prostate cancer usually higher dosages are used. Its profile has showed being safer than flutamide or cyproterone, although always is good monitoring the liver under any kind of antiandrogen.
