do eunuchs fall in love?

That question came suddenly into my mind when I was thinking back in time... I remembered a time when I first fell in love. first I was not aware what was going on with me as I found myself doing odd things and behave weird. the reason was having strong feelings toward other person. I was close to panic as it was very difficult to control myself. Actually I was able only to direct myself not to control. But at the same time it felt good.

Now the question came into my mind, is falling in love related only to sexual hormones or is it something, more complex.

So, the most easy way is to ask from castrated memebers of EA, if they had fallen in love after castration?

After becoming a eunuch and experienced the heightened emotions I did fall in love with a man named Brian. I think that with the flood of emotions of a newly castrated eunuch I needed someone so badly that I went back to someone from my past. It ended up not working out but there were good things that came out of the relationship. Many years later and having become used to the greater emotions I do not have that intense need to be in love.

Oddly before castration and due to sexual addiction men I were attracted to for whatever reason were a means to an end. When I was young I did love a few men but later it was purely physical. So for me the physical attraction was a barrier to love. T and addiction kept my emotions locked away.

After Brian I did date one other eunuch but we decided quicky that we should just be friends. This was soon after Brian left and it was probably too early for me to try and date. There is no one in my life right now with whom I am dating or romantically involved. I would like to meet someone one day close to my age and similar interests for some shared times. Yes I am capable of falling in love and I hope to again one day but after Brian I need to spend some time loving myself.

I have not had a love sense castration but its not out of the question. I guess there is not the need but I would never turn away from someone because of the castration. I think today I am more sensitive and other then sex I think it could be. They say there is someone for everybody so I will keep my hopes alive. And Tugon, good hunting.

i was already involved in a long term relationship before i started the chem castration, which i have been doing for 2 years, so far our relationship hasnt suffered from the low t. So I am saying eunuchs can sure stay in love.

I do believe the first time I was in a loving relationship was after I was castrated -- about 8 months after. Castration and that love was pure coincidence.

As most of you know, this old Eunuch has been married for well over thirty years, twenty of them as a Eunuch and to a much younger Woman I might add. I think that if anything has been gained by this unusual relationship is a deeper appreciation for each other and the ability for a Woman and a Eunuch to live together as Eunuch and Wife. We do just fine.

I am returnig to this old topic again. Due to my ongoing mind experiment.

It has always puzzled me, what is love? I think it is one of the most badly defined word. What does it mean?

When my mom said I love you, I knew what it meant. And I am able to respond with similar feelings toward my mom. I love her.

When I say I love icecream, it actually mean that I enjoy the taste and other pleasurable feelings I get from eating an icecream.

When somebody who I know very little, says 'I love you', then it probably means that she or he wants to have sex with me.

Then there is a 'harmonic love' between man and a woman. This is most puzzling thing to me. Perhaps it is because I have always kept apart my sexual desires/fantasies and respectful affection that makes my heart warm toward other person. I can love just anybody independent of age and sex in that way.

I am very well aware that if you have long lasting sexual relation with somebody you love the way I described above at the same time it makes this person special for you. Perhaps this is what is called harmonic love. Or rather love with sex.

human brain is built so that if you get sexually extremely aroused on somebody else, (it signals to your brain that you got a match and you need to have offspring) you tend not to notice that your mind does not match with other person mind, you have absolutely no common interests or common values at all except sex. This is not a love. This is pure sex. But it can do wonders. It is strange, but artist typically get strong inspirational impulses from that. they call it muse. I could say, it is a sexual energy conversion into art. But the fact is that mind is energised.

So, what is love? Most probably it is not sex and most people can not describe what it is. And we get very broad range of love descriptions if we did a survey

Eunuchs do fall in love. That is for sure.
