I think one of the odd things about being castrated is that I can't remember what it was like to have testicles. I remember that if I was kicked on punched in the balls, it hurt. I remember them moving around, but now that I've been without them for several years, I can't visualize or grasp the sensation mentally. If they're not there the feeling and thoughts disappear. I've adjusted to life without them and it's as though I never had them. What was normal with them has become normal without them. My wife has even adjusted to not seeing them, though she was not a big fan of them anyway. I think that women in general are not sexually stimulated by looking at a man's testicles the same way that men are stimulated by looking at women's boobs. O.K. enough from me.

I also had a doc's recommendation to be castrated for physiological reasons. Having balls was uncomfortable and often painful. Absence of pain is the best part, but it's also just super comfortable to have an empty crotch.
