Could we better identify stories by type?

Post by I Worship Women (imported) »

First, I hope this is the right place for this thread, I'm sorry if it's not.

I was wondering if stories could be identified by type. For example when you go down the lists of story titles in the index it doesn't identify if the story is straight, gay, bi, etc. You have to click on the title and go to the story to find out. As a straight male I have gone to stories expecting a good story I will enjoy only to find it is gay. I'm sure gay members have had the same experience going to what they hope is a really good story they will enjoy only to find it is straight.

A story title might be Castrated At The Vet's Office. No way to tell if it is straight, gay, bi, etc. But what if stories were listed Castrated At The Vet's Office (S). A Slave's Regret (G). It would make it easier to identify stories rather than clicking on each interesting title, you would know before you go there.

I realize it might be hard to add (S) or (G) or (BI) to each of the titles now in the huge lists or indexes of stories already posted, but what about new stories from here on. Would it be hard to set up the system to add the proper designation next to each story in the index? Just wondering, thought it might make things more convenient for readers.

They do. They're not always accurate, but most stories in the index are labelled S (straight), G (gay), Bi (Bi), F (female is cut), TG (transgender), None (non-sexual). I think the None stories seem to be most commonly mislabelled. It would be nice though, to have someone edit those labels.

Maybe the original poster is looking at this page: http://www.eunuch.org/main/ where there are no tags for the new stories instead of this page: http://www.eunuch.org/main/index.php?special=stories which does have tags.

This page can list new stories for up to 60 days. (It defaults to seven days.)

Users can also get alphabetical lists by story title or by author name of the entire story database. (Look at the two boxes on the upper right side of the screen.)

There is also a story search function below the alphabetical indexes on the right of the screen. If anyone has questions on how to find stories, reply to this message.
