Secondary Hypogonadism
Just got the test results back from my doc today. T-levels are still in the 115 range. Doc says that I've got "Secondary Hypogonadism." Anyone ever heard of this?

Re: Secondary Hypogonadism
First you have to understand what primary hypogonadism is. And that is when the sexual glands themselves are missing or are deficient and therefore unable to produce the "necessary" sexual hormones. Secondary hypyogonadism is when even though the galnds are present and capable they are not providing those "necessary" sexual hormones. I'm not real sure on this but I think it's close.

Re: Secondary Hypogonadism
"Secondary Hypogonadism" is a catchall diagnostic term for low testosterone levels that can result from anything from obesity (morbid) to endocrine problems unrelated in a primary way to the testicles to, ironically, the overuse of steroids by bodybuilders and other athletes to several diseases.
Hopefully, your doctor is now working with you on (a) understanding the underlying cause and (b) determining the appropriate treatment and/or (c) referring you to the right specialist(s).
Good luck.

Re: Secondary Hypogonadism
Yes Hcg may work for you to stimulate your testicles.
You ever do any pro hormones or steroids which could have lead to this?
More guys have hormone problems than one would think.
