Is there anyway that stories posted to the Archive in German can be automatically translated into english. Some of the stories interest me, but my German is not that good. I can only understand some of it, and I am affraid that the story may not be fully enjoyed. I hope so. I placed a poll to see if others are interested in this as well.

Personally, I don't have a problem with non-English stories being posted. German seems to be more common, although there are a few French ones. I let German stories out of the tank because I have a working grasp of the language. Basically, enough to get by on and get me into trouble! I'm sure I miss a few finer points though when I read them.

If a story comes in that I can't read, such as French, I look at it this way - someone took a lot of time to write it and post it, and I'll run bits and pieces of it through an online translator to make sure it's on topic. If it is, it gets out.

However, one thing I do NOT have time to do is to translate each and every non-English story that comes in. Most translation services online are flakey at best, but they do offer webpage translations that should get you by. Do a search on those, and try that on the whole page of the story text.

I will do that. I am just rying to fully appreciate the stories being written in other lanuages to. German writers seem to have a good nack for telling a story. I havent read many other languages on here. I hope you might give me a translator company, I and will gladly do it myself. Thank you for replying to me.
