Some of the long-standing regulars around here may remember, but a while ago, I posted a thread asking for advice on chemical castration. One of the things, probably the major thing, that held me back then was finances. Currently, I've got a little leisure cash, and I figure now's as good a time as any to finally do this. Unfortunately, reading into the issue, I don't know where to begin. Androcur and finasteride and Depo-provera and SSRIs and tamoxifin and Paxil and 5-HTP - on and on and on.
I figure a quick description of my exact situation might help fine-tune any potential recommendations. I don't want to be able to experience any arousal. Shutting off sperm production would be a really nice bonus, but I'm not sure if anything other than wiping out your testosterone levels would do that. Which brings me to my next point - I don't want to end up feminized. I'm already a moody bastard, so I don't think things like increasing depression would be noticed by people. Breasts, on the other hand...
I'm in my very early twenties, slim-built, 140 pounds, and work out regularly. Diet's not too good - nearly no fruits or veggies - but I'm not pigging out hamburgers and pizza every day either. Not sure if any of that's important, but I thought I'd throw it out there just in case.
Anyway, if anyone's got any good pointers based on this, please let me know. I'll keep searching on my own in the meantime. And yes, I know everyone responds differently to any given medication.
Totally lost on the issue of chemical castration

Re: Totally lost on the issue of chemical castration
Hey,
Your posting sounds not like you are freaky turned on by the idea, but like somebody who cares about himself..........
So here's my advice (after a long trial period for myself)
First ask yourself if you really want to do this............
Sure?
You are willing to make a real useful offer?
Sure?
Then go find yourself a good doctor and a psychiatrist and go for it.
You will have to be open and honest, and make them understand that you are not visiting them to hear: "Don't do it", but that you want help to do it the right way.
I know very well that getting a drug and secretly starting to take it is far more easy. But my advice: MAKE THAT OFFER
