Eunuch Dads
There doesn't seem to be much discussion about parenting.
Are you now a physical eunuch, and a dad?
What are the consequences of that?
I know gay men who were married for years, have children, then finally accept the fact they are gay and need to live a gay life and leave their wife and all the fall out from that. But I don't know anyone (straight or gay) who had kids, then became a eunuch from choice.
Are you a child of a father who is now a physical eunuch?
What were the challenges of that?
And I posed another question on another board:
If you are a chemical castrate do the testes still create useable sperm (which could then be surgically extracted for use so that you could become a dad)
As a physical eunuch, or chemical castrate, what have been, what are your fathering interests?
I had always desired to never ever be a parent or have children.
At that, I am a success.
But I have always wondered, since I am still not yet physically castrated, having sperm surgically extracted before physically castration could then be used by someone who seeks to be pregnant might at least help perpetuate what use to be called my blood line (now called our DNA line). I would on ly do so as an anonymous donor. Has anyone done that, or thought about doing that?
Want to be, or being a eunuch, seems to be such a me me me, all about me, thing. Our world seems to revolve around our balls (or lack of them). So I was just wondering about some other topics.
PS: In my case sperm would have to be surgically extracted since the cords are cut. In your case simple ejaculation might be all that is needed.

Re: Eunuch Dads
You are in luck, I am a eunuch and I have 5 kids, of course the kids were grown before I became a eunuch. All of them know that I am a eunuch and know that I did chemical castration for a year before having them removed.
You have come to the right place, there are eunuchs here, some of us are dads, and grandfathers and everything.
If you want to meet some of us come to the MOM event and you can meet me and my son and grandson. They are not eunuchs.

I'm a dad - identical triplet sons. Never - fucking - again. They're great. Have no idea if Cindy ever told them I was clipped - has been no secret in my family, friends, or circles.... They seem to be doing fine with careers and BFs and whatever.... See them once in a few years....

I am a dad as well and they know that I am a eunuch
that fact has not changed any of our relation ships they respect me the same
as they had before
what they like is that I am calmer and not grouchy and hot tempered

I am a dad and granddad.
My two children know Ihave lost my testes...as wellas my siblings, nephews, and all the in-laws. Also a few friends at church. Did not think it was something to keep secret if the questin was asked. Actually found ou th that two of the men at church only have one. One brn that way ..and the father of 4, the other almost died before the dr's deciede one that was causi g the problems should be removed. In fact, his wife recommended to me I have BOTH removed since they were causing pain problems. And I had not even told her what was going on. Of course, she was in her late 70's. (76 I think since she turned 80 this year.)
My daughter's only comment when she was told is "Dad, at your age you don't need them anymore anyway".

Nope. Only one son and he was a little put back by it but he has come around and now does not think about it. I doubt if he would have it done unless, like me, it became a medical necessity.

Re: Eunuch Dads
This is ainteresting thread as it touches on how members and their families have have adapted to the situation over time. So as a related question, how has everyone's wife or life partner reacted and hopefully successfully coped with the move to eunuch status. Were msot supportive and/or was it a difficult transition?.
