j need to take anti-androgen for my protate this is proscar and xatral and j have same desease after 3 years: headache with trubles of statement, litle breast as a teenager . j have taken some pounds more . my skin is soft like a girl . i have lost part of muscles and get quickly no more activity ; and libido is very low so i prefer to be passive and get boys. all this without oetrogen .

may be sometimes depressive because i was exhaust too quickly so i think chimical castration must transforme live and body of men.

Remember also that even on HRT, osteoporosis can develop, so it is good to get checked, regardless.

For most men of younger years the effects are less then what you are experiencing. Your profile has you as an older person. You may have low testosterone levels to start with. Taking any anti-androgen could have more effect on you than most other men.

This I did not know !

Just about when I think there isn't much new info on the board something like this gets posted and it helps to reinforce why I should continue to check in on a regular basis so that I don't miss some important information.

With my T level plunging faster than my 401k I shall ask about getting a osteo baseline on my next re-visit with my Dr. In the meantime I will start taking calcium and/or whatever else my friendly herbal medicine store suggests.
