A friend of mine who lost both of his orbs 2 years ago to cancer, had them replaced with prosthetics. He just had to have one removed from his abdomen and replaced in his scrotum yesterday. Apparently, he was putting his niece down for a time-out and she kicked him. Tore the thing lose and shot it right up the inguinal. He said it hurt a lot, but he didn't wretch and puke as with the real deal...

...must have a HUGE inguinal ring. Hard to believe that he didn't end up with a hernia...

Well, they did go in abdominally, as well as at the top of the scrotum. Opportunity for repair was there... I suspect the surgeon stitched the inguinal shut as a precaution.
