I'm @ 115 and most would consider that a good post op level! How did you get so low?

When I am off the T (like now) I tend to hover around 50-60 ng/dl. Doc has been bitching that my hemoglobin is too high (polycythemia) and cut off my T to bring the level down. Blood bank visit time, too... That helps as well.....

Some say that a level of 50 on total T is castrate level. Others feel it would be somewhat lower to be considered castrate. My level is around 14 total T with virtually no free and no E2. I have been off hrt for the past six months due to conflict with other meds and will be off for another six months. I, too, have had to have blood drawn to bring down the hematocrit levels. Anything over abouot 18-19 and the blood banks don't seem to want it. Had to have mine done at a hospital. One pint of blood dropped my hematocrit about two to three points. Good luck Kristoff..
