Young men are advised to be annually screened for CANCER of the PENIS.
The doctor manipulates and squeezes it searching for a suspicious lump.
The radiologist squeezes it between cold heavy metal plates for a peni-gram.
And of course, if the malignancy is discovered early enough, and the surgery is radical enough - a guy might live without future cancer conserns.
Oh, they tried, lumpectomy, but recurrance required the final surgery and the survival was drastically lowered. And radiation, caused too much tissue scaring and death. Chemo, won't save thebut, might extend a life.
Would it be related to HPV ?
Would it run in families ?
What an alternative medical world <the horror> <the horror>

moi,
From my understanding, penile cancer is *much* less common than either testicular or prostate cancer, to the degree that it's very seldom screened for during medical exams.
Quite a few years back, I found a lump on one of my testicles; I had an ultrasound, and fortunately, it wasn't cancerous - regardless of anyone's desire to lose the family jewels, dealing with *any* kind of cancer isn't a fun thing - so I'm still intact.
Now, if I *had* to lose them, I wouldn't mind finding a kinky doctor who would tie me to the exam table and turn it into an S&M scene, but I digress...
