Moderators are like icebergs. Ten percent of their support is visible; 90% is below the surface, invisible. Moderating and keeping the forums on topic, and eliminating irrelevant or inappropriate comments requires people who are passionate about their involvement. Generally the EA seems to be for individuals who are voluntarily seeking, engaged in, or have achieved a low to zero testosterone level. Yet, even men who have had involuntary permanent or temporary chemical reduction in testosterone, or surgical castration, might find meaningful information on the archive. Whether you sought or did not seek testosterone reduction, viewing and sharing experiences of the physical effects, results, and side effects has benefit.

I thought I would not read or contribute to the political/religious discussions. But politicts and religion impose (inflict) themselves on our sexuality in many ways including emotionally and physically. These are side-trips to the medical discussions, but not unimportant. Contributing and viewing postings that have nothing to do with eunuch-sexuality are interesting if only to see how eunuchs (and wannabes) view non-eunuch / non-sexuality issues. Venting helps one from blowing a mental or emotional gasket.

I'd agree whole-heartedly - the EA is a great site for SUPPORT and meningful advice. The EA and the moderators certainly helped me when I needed it. (What is it about eunuchs that makes them such nice people?)

The fantasy side of the EA sometimes seems to get a bit out of control but the moderators manage to handle that very well. The stories and the bios are useful tools to help people to work through their fantasies. However, I don't read the stories much any more since my castration desires became reality!

As for the political discussions - I don't care for that part of the EA - too many flames there....

Now the support part is simply wonderful, especially for the homosexual or transsexual person who is wrestling with their conflicting desires and emotions or just loking for advice about surgery. The testicualr pain and cancer issues also get good coverage. Great job guys (er... gals? eunuchs? or whatever...).👏👥❤️

I might be more (or less) liberal in what I think is "bent." I dunno I think there is a strong group of people who have very mainstream reasons to be here. Transexual people, People with Medical issues like Testicular Cancer, Orchialgia, etc. And those that have insane sex drives that they want to control so they can avoid harming others.

On a similar note the Truth be told I find the story board with the kiddie stuff repugnant. And some of it frightens me. Some of the rest rather silly because I think its all based on what sexed up intact people "think" castration would be like or rather how they wish it would be like. People getting jerked off by a "surgeon" Vet etc. Loving wives who want men cut or master slave stuff. Reality? I dunno. Not in my experience but... I don't get out much either.

I've met a lot of people that are just.... very nice people! I can't say I get thrilled chatting and having "subs" PM me and beg to be made sex slaves etc. But those people for whatever reason don't seem to post that much and are not active at the MOMs. I think if your looking at having an Orchiectomy for whatever reason there are not a lot of places you can go to talk it over with anyone. I don't admit to understand what it feels like to be (for example) transexual. But I can have empathy for someone that is troubled enough in their skin and desires a change. I also can grasp the whole idea of Body Image since my Testes were screwed up and the "replacements" while really just a cosmetic thing did do a lot for my ego or body image or whatever you want to call it.

I'm probably dense when I say I don't get into the whole CBT, Master Slave biz. Sex? Well it feels good and I'm not totally vanilla about it but there comes a point when I say to myself (anyway) do I need to have a tennis ball in my mouth and have the shit kicked out of me to enjoy this? And my personal answer is none for me thanks! ;)

Hey MRT,

Sure there are a lot of nice and great people on the board, and you are one of them.

As for the master slave biz, I am a very strong mind, if I was normal, I would be a master. And no, I am not going to ask you to be your slave.

But somehow, I needed a master. I need somebody to break through my dammed proud. Becoming a slave means I have to overcome myself.

I don't need a tennisball in my mouth to be quiet and he is not going to kick the shit out of me. Yeah, I found him, I pointed him out, out of millions and the trick is that he respects me as I have to respect him. He's a great friend and I really love him. That is the reason why I can allow him to show me my place. And I really hope that one day he will be so hard on me that he breaks my proud, and I can asure you that that will take a lot effort from his side.

As for the moment, I feel happy and comfortable with the situation as I can take it. I will find out what the future has in mind. Maybe, by this reply I can give you a more comfortable feeling about the master/slave biz

loveU

Jean
