My guess is that he wasn't really gay to begin with and it was early childhood experiences that led him to think he was.
You cannot cure "being gay", but you can be cured of thinking that you are one when you are not. My childhood experiences lead me to think I was homosexual - until I finally discovered what girls had between their legs....
"Cured" of being Gay? No, I think the words should be "Cursed" because on is Gay. You are thought of being unnatural, and weird because you have attractions toward another man. People make fun of you, the laugh at you. You are the center of strange jokes and pokes. Just being asexual you are laughed at.. Anyone who does not have a wife is abnormal. Many think that you need to commited to a mental institution or at least visiting a shrink. Some even think you should be jailed or put away. You circle of friends and family dramatically shrinks. People say and do things that hurt your feelings. Yes, to be homosexual is a curse. The hurts grow so deep and continuing growing deeper rooted as life continues. Would it not be a perfect world if all homoexuals were placed in a small section of land and kept away from all others? Many think this way.
These days I could be buy sexual, but alas, I have ran out of money and the women are too expensive...but the best women always GAVE it to me when I was young because they knew this poor boy could not afford to pay for it.

It only makes for more and more and more hurts as one tends to take the position of master and the other has to be hurt by being a slave. In all honesty the best thing that society could do would be to eliminate all the homosexuals.
Nonuts, I can't agree about g0ys. It does *not* assume there's something wrong with being gay, unless you equate gayness with ass-fucking, which I do not. I've loved men all my life. I like frot, oral, mutual masturbation, etc. With all that, I've never fucked another man up the ass, nor had anyone do that to me.
Just as g0ys describes, I've enjoyed deep love for other men, love which necessarily included physical intimacy. I've never loved a man and wanted to stick my dick up his ass. Why would I? I can only think of negatives surrounding analism.
I'll add that, loving men, I don't want surrogate women. If I wanted a woman, I'd be with a real one. If I want a man, I want a masculine, manly man, not someone who enacts a grotesque caricature of femininity.
I'm not repressed, closeted, self-denying, self-hating, etc. Just the opposite. I'm being who I am. You begin with a false premise, if you begin by saying "to be gay means engaging in anal sex and imitative femininity." I'm gay, or more accurately, I'm somewhere on Kinsey's scale, and unworried about whether I'm correct according to the lights of bullying politicians.
I'm not criticizing anyone who's into anal or female impersonation. People who are have the same right I do to be happy. But they do *not* have the right to tell this ardent cocksucker that he thinks there's something wrong with being gay. I don't elevate my tastes into morality or ideology. Others should do the same, and not treat me as menacing or deluded merely because I don't feel as they feel. There's room in the world for all sorts, and tolerance is a cardinal virtue.
What g0ys tells me is that I'm not alone. There are many who feel as I do. Perhaps very many.

OneBallBoi, your posts have been an inspiration. Homosexuals can solve all their problems by putting people like you in concentration camps! I'd never thought of it until now, but society could achieve a static, clone-like uniformity, if all people who didn't think, feel, and act alike were eliminated.
