I hope you don't think I was saying you were an ass because I simply don't know you enough to say so. I just meant that you need to look at other things as to why you feel or act in ways that make you feel uncomfortable. Some people run from something or another all their lives and never realize that THEY are what they are running from.

I sincerely wish you luck with what you are doing and hope it leads to the peace and happiness that you seek.

Sincerely, Ramses

Thanks, this is a great reply.

But what I wrote is true, I was that asshole, and I need to find out how and how much I changed. Maybe I even have to learn from the beginning how to introduce myself to other people. That was what my last question to you was about. If I course any problem, to anyone, just tell me. I will not run for it, even if it hurts, I've lost enough time.

So thanks again

Thanks for all the replies.

I received my depo provera yesterday and started with 2x150mg and will try 150mg every 3 weeks. I will continue with the siterone for 7 more days since I have it and from then on just stick to DP. I have 4 more doses and that should give me a feel for how it works for me. I should beable to determin if at that time DP works good enough for me.

I did get a referral to a Endocrinologist from my GP so I will be exploring that to see if maybe I can get a proscription for something that will chemically castrate me.

It shouldnt be that big of a deal for a consenting adult to get this done. good luck in your search and I too will keep you informed.

As promised, to keep you informed. Today I got an english written referral from my Dutch doctor, addressed to the Vietnamese urologist that is willing to help. Now it is the question, will the hospital staf accept this referral as a medical indication and allow the doctor to do his job....this is so close

As I said before, I would like to take a nice sleep and wake up without the problem. And I prefer Vietnam over NL as people here a far more respectful and open, and I have friends who are willing to take care if needed.

Tomorrow morning I will visit the urologist again and hand him the paper.

Please please please let it be okay................

Sorry, I have to tell you..................

The referral was not good enough to pass by the vietnamese law.

Ph**** didn't wait for about onehundred people waiting to buy a ticket for the hospital. He just went in, leaving me outside. He found the doctor and handed him my dutch papers....

But at least this doctor showed some respect. He ordered Ph**** to get me inside as he wanted to tell me how much he regrets this problem. Vietnamese people don't use sorry for every little shit, so that was maybe the reason for him to say it by vietnamese "Xin Loi"

I thank him for that, as this moment I don't even feel sad about it. This way of paying respect is a great thing. I will find my way, one way or the other, I'm only afraid that it will not be easy to find a person like him.

loveU all

I took 2 injections of 150mg of depo provera on the 2nd and am wondering if it is in my head or a side effect.I dont really know for sure how long it takes to kick in.

It has only been 1 week but I have started to experience joint pain in my hands. I have always had some in the morning but a hot shower would usually pretty much take care of it, but that is not the case now.

When I was on siterone it didnt seem to have any effect on my joints in my hands. I understand that DP works different than siterone but I am not really that knowledgable about the mechcanics of it

tr,

I just looked in my wife's Lippincott's Nursing Drug Guide. Depo Provera has on onset of "weeks" and a peak level of "months". Of course they are using it as a female contraceptive or for other female issues plus for renal cancer, not for chemical castration of males. There are a number of adverse effects listed but none covering muscle/skeletal issues like your joints. Swelling of calves or numbness or tingling in arms or legs was as close as it got.

I get much joint pain from low testosterone. I would expect that is the cause here; simply coincidental to the DP, perhaps.

Thanks for the responses. It is definitely something I feel is minor in comparision to the way I felt before I started chemical castration. I will just deal with and be happy the way I feel now.

I go to the endocrinologist on the 24th and hope to be able to convince him to proscribe me something to continue my chemical castration and get my insurance to pay for it. Otherwise I will continue on my own.
