I am taking 50 Mg siterone daily and a 150 MG injection of Depo Provera. I have been doing so for over three weeks and I do have to say I like the effect so far.

I had planned to use the Depo Provera monthly for a couple more times and then just stay with the Siterone.

The reduced libido and LACK OF urgency for sex is a most welcome change.

I do have one question for you regarding ED medications????

Apparently the desires continue to diminish with time and that is what I am hoping for.

In the unlikely event my wife were to become interested in sex on occasion, does something like Viagra or even Caverject still work after several months on the siterone. I have a Doctor’s prescription for both but seldom use them.

I have used the Viagra once since starting the Siterone and the Viagra seems to works basically as it did before.

I have NOT used the Caverject since then, I do NOT like the application method but I would guess it would work basically as before.

I would appreciate any thoughts anyone might have on this.

On those times where the wife wants sex I use Caverject, the Viagra stopped working for me after the first year.

I've been taking Premia 5 (0.625mg conjugated estrogens + 5mg medroxyprogesterone) for about 6 weeks now. My sex drive has finally started to drop after the 5th week. I thought about doubling that but I'm not sure about the 10mg / day of provera. I may switch over to the 0.625mg + 2.5mg version when these run out in about 4 months so the estrogen can be doubled without overdoing the provera unless I find out it's safe to take the ones I have twice per day.
