My Bald Spot

Post by Andrew (imported) »

One of the interesting side effects of castration is on head hair growth. Castration tends to slow down or stop male pattern baldness. Of course, if you already have male pattern baldness, castration will NOT restore the hair. I was already well along in baldness when castrated, but sincethen I have had no further hair loss.

Those of you who wnat to see more pictures of me, taken at the CORFLU 19 SF Con, can use the following list...

The CORFLU 19 web site is at http://www.hawkida.com/corflu/

The photos are at http://www.hawkida.com/corflu/photos/index.htm

I am in the following pictures.

THURSDAY

Image 5IM00613.jpg shows me just after a hot flush hit me and I had taken off my blue Post Office shirt. The long item around my neck is a travel pouch where I carry my passport and airline tickets. I had not got around to dropping it off in my room.

FRIDAY DAYTIME

Image 1IM000621.jpg shows me in my blue Post Office shirt, eating an apple (I think).

Image 7IM000627.jpg is my moment of infamy, as far as Nic Farey is concerned. The hot flushes were hitting me every hour or so, and this one was particularly bad. So bad that I peeled off my T-shirt. And that is when somebody decided to take this picture. My eunuchoid features can be noticed.

Image 9IM000629.jpg is probably the best of the lot, although I have no idea why I was looking so grim. After all, I had a wonderful time at the convention.

FRIDAY EVENING, SATURDAY MORNING

Image 1IM000630.jpg shows me at the Opening Ceremonies. Yes, fanning away after yet another flush.

Image 9IM000642.jpg shows me back in the con suite, looking thoroughly miserable as I deal with yet another flush.

SATURDAY EVENING, SUNDAY

Image 34IM000683.jpg shows a view of me from the back, male pattern baldness and all. The fan is on the table, idle for once. (Thank God.)

Image 45IM000694.jpg shows me awaiting the Guest of Honor Speech after a superb banquet. I am wearing the official CORFLU 19 T-shirt, bedroom slippers (my feet were hurting), and, yes, fanning away.

I noticed this too when my T. levels began to drop. I believe that the drug propecia works in the way that lack of T stops the developement of dihydrotestosterone - which cause male hair loss. Propecia blocks it. Castration cures it. heh

I was getting a very thin spot on top at an alarming rate before my hypogonadic fiasco set in. It's not progressed by a millimeter since I opted for no HRT.

Well male pattern baldness for me is shall we say total. However I have noticed sense-taking Androcur I am growing this fuzz stuff, little hairs all over the top of my baldhead. I am not sure I like it, as I have been bald for 30 yrs and I like being bald, I have become accustomed to it, its me. Now I have this fuzz stuff. I hope after I am castrated it like my balls go away.

Advantages of being bald:

I don’t own a comb or brush.

I don’t need to blow dry my hair.

Hats always fit.

I never go to the barber.

No need for shampoo or hair conditioner.

Never need to brush the hair out of your eyes.

Disadvantages of being bald:

Bumping your head, with hair you have a cushion.

Must ware a hat out side, Sunburn.

Glare off lights

maybe that an advantage.

Hearing the same bald joke for the umpteenth time.

SO LETS HERE IT FOR MALE PATTERN BALDNESS AND ALL IT BRINGS
