For once Sag and I are of the same opinion.
It's all because some people got over excited, posted nasty things to each other, and the powers that be here disapproved.
We each got six of the best and had our privileges removed.
Never mind though. The political board is the most fun.

My post count has not increased lately and my posts were NOT in the political area. I made a post in the Tech area today. My count was 332 which I think was the same as it was before. I made another post in the Tech area. My count was STILL 332.

My post count did go up after I posted the message above. Maybe the whole "Opinions and Advise" section is not being counted and not just the Political area.

My message count does not change when I post messages in Tech & Computer and in The Deep Dark Cellar.
My message count does change when I post messages in this area and in the Story Review area.

Re: posting number doesn't change
is there a way to just not even see certain forums of the board when you click "new posts" or "today's posts"?
namely the political one.

Believe me, I wish there were.
I keep looking for modifications like that to vBulletin. Unfortunately, I haven't quite found one yet.
