The pills stop the production of testosterone. You have testosterone already made in your blood stream. It takes time for it to lower. Also it take time for the balls to shut down. The effects of siterone (androcur [cyproterone acetate]) will increase in time.
The heat you were experiencing was most likely hot flashes, a side effect. Depression is a real and major problem with castration that will effect everyone. For some it is minor and will pass fast. Other it is very deep and can last for an extended period of time.
Castration is not for most people. That is why it is so very important to do a test drive with chemical castration first to see if you can handle the effects and side effects.
Very interesting Bobbie.
My wife just read your reply and suggested that it seems likely that I have an unusually bad reaction to cyproterone acetate. It could be that I should try Depo-Provera instead.
