Now that's interesting -- the index page shows there's an attachment to your message, but when I read the message, I can't find the attachment.

What am I doing wrong??

Mostly because you can't attach a photo to your post on the archive.

Please instruct me, what I did wrong! There is a button for attachments. It allows valid files jpg. But there is a maximum size of 0 Bits??? How I can give to everybody the pleasure to look to a jpg file?

You did nothing wrong Herbert, and yes there is a button for uploading an attached file but it won't display any attachments on the postings.

You see, the Archive takes up a massive amount of space on the server and attachments only take up more space.

BME kindly sponsors the Archive with a server to call our home and all the internet bandwidth needed, so it is only fair that we try and keep expenses down. Also, they are the primary source of photographs for body modification on the internet so we don't want to have anything pictures posted that would make BME unhappy with us.

For those two reasons we don't allow attachments on postings.

What you can do however is:

Send the attachments to people via email. Or,

Put the attachment on a different website and place a link to it here. Or,

Send it to BME if it is BME material.

Thank you very much for your information. I will check what I can do, but I think to give to you some e-mails would be the best solution. I also will give the pic to BME, because I think they will like it.
