An appealling story. Although I don't have fantasies about being an animal, the magical male to female transformation followed by the protagonist bearing young was right up my alley, as a undergoing magical or fantasy technology transformation into a genetic woman is a core fantasy of mine (see my avatar). Anyone who would enjoy reading a very entertaining story about a man being transformed into a donkey (though staying male) should read the ancient Roman writer Apuleius's novel "The Golden Ass" or "Metamorphosis" which deals with this subject. The hero, turned into a donkey, experiences plenty of whipping and abuse in donkey form. This classic is readilyavailable in translation (check out Amazon). A question for the author: which part of your fantasy was more important to you: becoming a donkey or becoming female and giving birth?
