This is an excellent story concerning an alternate world where boys who turn eleven years old are neutered. The author did a wonderful job!

Agreed... this one (by Coyan Hyde) is among my favorites of that particular type of story on the archive; the 'slice of life' (unfortunate pun semi-inteded) 'cherub' storyline. This particular storytype usually doesn't include much plot outside the main one, and usually is mostly about mothers / aunts 'calming' their boy children. I like them because of their simplicity, I guess, although they stories by Slammr, CvanD, and Pueros, etc, usually have much more subplot. I definitely wish I grew up in this society.

Nice to see others 'taking off' from where CvanD started!

I believe I may have been the first to review this gem of a story - one that is head and shoulders above the customary stuff: clever, credible and amusing, and one that could never, surely, cause the slightest upset.

One thing perplexes me. If all the boys in that neigbourhood have their balls pricked, and if that procedure leaves them flaccid as well as sterile, how are the neighbourhood girls ever to have a sex life?

Now there's a subject for a sequel!
