dreaming of losing my balls

I've had the same dream three times recently. I lose my balls in some kind of accident, and then they are in a jar and a woman is holding it and lauging at me. I wake up grabbing my precious jewels to make sure they are still there. I love my nuts but I keep finding myself strangely excited by this concept. I can't help but get turned on by the potential humiliation of losing my manhood.

So then I do a little research to see what is wrong with me and I find this website and see that I am not alone. I see that some of you have actually been castrated. I don't think I have the balls to do something like this (no pun intended) because I would regret it too much. But secretly I am hoping that someday my fantasy will come true and I will lose my testicles.

Everyone needs fantasy. The main question is always whether or not it should remain ONLY fantasy. You clearly need to do far more research into the consequences should your fantasy become true.

From what you have written, yours sounds as if yours ought to remain in the fantasy realm. Enjoy it, but don't try to turn it into reality of any sort. There is plenty to read and research here on the Archive. That alone should keep you involved for a long while.

I'm curious to know if I need my testicles at all. Not being able to have kids wouldn't matter. I know you can get artificial testosterone, so could I still get aroused, or is it less effective? Also I have heard that they have silicone implants for dogs that have been neutered, so could I get fake balls so that it would be normal looking?

Yes, men need testicles. Really. It's what makes men be men. But once you have passed the puberty stage some choose to have them removed out of a need or a desire, but not out of fantasy. Some loose them against their wishes (cancer,damage,etc).

Browse all of the postings here. You will learn a lot. Do nothing to harm yourself and worry not about having fantasies, they are the fun harmless part of the human experience; they harm neither yourself or anyone else....except maybe don't let people you know learn of certain fantasies....that could cause problems. If you wish that these types of dreams will keep turning you on (I'd get turned on if I had a dream like that), better hang on to your testicles.

If you lose your testes, than unless you get HRT, NOTHING will turn you on ever again. (that sucks).

HRT costs, and has it's risks and complications, natural supply is always better

I must disagree with Nullo Chris in his post that men NEED testicles. I have none , and even when I did , they were totally non functional. Not having them has been a boon to my existance. No more pains no more cautious sexual play, in all ways better than when I had them.

I do use hormone therapy, and always will. I have a teenagers libido, and love it!!!

Losing ones testicles is not a decision to be made rashly. It can takes years to accomplish it thru the legal channels, but IMHO, is well worth it.

My advice to the original poster, is if youre thinking of anything beyond fantasy then, chat with those on this site who can answer your questions, those of us who are already done.
