brings back memories, this toy thread, always have been fascinated with those RC choppers,
but it seems money the last 15yrs has been just tight enough that,I end up looking at everything from a tool stand point, will this pay for its self ect,
been told more than a few times that you need to just let things go and
blow some money on a toy, a RC plane, chopper ect, and just let go of everything, might just do that ,
one of these days;)

Chris, I had to laugh when you mentioned pet rocks....When we where kids we got on a crank call kick one summer and one of the calls was to a crematorium to see how much it would cost to cremate our deceased pet rock. Oh, man I wish I had a recording of it, it was priceless!
My favorite toys where Tonkas, the real metal ones that where kid proof! We moved enough dirt with those little dudes to show up some real (full size) excavation contractors!

Re: Toy Catalog
Crankshaft, sometimes tools are nearly as much fun as toys. I try to stay out of hardware stores because I don't really need any more tools, but there always seems to be something new that I've just GOTTA have.
My newest toy is a digital vernier caliper. It's just as accurate as my micrometer and can measure up to 6+/-.001 inches, vs one inch for the micrometer. I bought a chain wrench last summer that I've never used, but it's a real ring-tailed deusy of a tool !
