Will a low testosterone cause a frequent urination
right when my problem happened 3 1/2 months ago to cause my testosterone to decrease, I began having a frequent urination problem, I literaly couldnt go more then 2 hours without urinating wether I was awake or asleep and I had the constant urge to go
This lasted until about the end of September when I tried to get a job and occupy myself with other things and I felt my body become more tense and angry and I was able to hold in the urination more and I guess I thought it went away, I figured maybe it was psychological or something that went away
Now I am trying to relax more and I feel the frequent urination is coming back, again I feel like I constantly have to go and I cant go more then a few hours without urinating and there is always a stream coming out, I wont drink anything for 20 hours and there is always a flow of urine
I wonder if there is some mind body psychological thing that having testosterone lets you hold urine in more, I think that month I went where I tried getting a job or tried making believe I was normal again I was in denial about what was happening to me, though I was able to hold my urine in, though I was extremly angry and irritable in the process
Now I am coming to accept what is happening to me and I feel the urine flowing throw me like I cant hold it in, whenever I drink something I feel it has to come right out and it does, like water goes right through me, I also feel my body is giving out like I have no desire to eat or drink anything, like something in me is telling me to die

I would think that you'd probably not want go go more than a few hours without urinating? Urinating once every 15mins means frequent to me, but every few hours sounds about just right.

Get yourself checked for diabetes. NOW. Classic symptoms.

I'd get checked anyway. Frequent urination is not a typical result of testosterone insufficiency.

Low Testosterone can also lead to diabetes and other issues like bone loss. You should get checked for it!! Testosterone helps regulate blood sugar. Frequent urination is one of the first signs of Diabetes...ALWAYS listen to the Red Nun!!

ok, is diabities something that comes up on a blood test, I have seen a number of urologists and doctors and I dont think they brought it up but I did take some blood tests
Like I said all these things happened suddenly
I had my injury/problem the night of July 26th, and that night when I was sleeping I kept waking up to urinate and the next morning when I woke up I realized something was wrong with my libidio

Re: Will a low testosterone cause a frequent urination
There can be other urological issues here. You might want to see a urologist. I have urethral strictures and that causes frequent uriniation. I have seen a urologist regularly for this problem for 30 years now.
Re: Will a low testosterone cause a frequent urination
Diabetes is nothing to mess with.
It only takes about a minute to get checked, maybe more if you have to drink the God-awful Tang-orangey-sewer-water stuff and come back and get checked again in 2 hours. (Glucose tolerance test).
For me, the 2 hour reading on an empty stomach with a 20 oz. Pepsi (not diet) was 203 mg/dl. OOOOOPS!!!!! That, up from the 75 when I started. That's called a hard spike, btw, and that is what does the damage to your body.
FREQUENT URINATION IS THE CLASSIC SIGN OF DIABETES. Way back when, it was called "wasting disease" - you ate and drank and just pissed and shit yourself to death. The drinking and urination things are ALWAYS the first sign, from what I read. It was for me, too.
If you've never had a specific blood test for diabetes, then no, it won't turn up if they're NOT looking for THAT. Just as low T will not turn up if they are not looking for THAT on a blood test. Only a full blood panel where they check for EVERYTHING would have shown that.
To say that you know that it cannot be diabetes is a very foolish assumption to make. Until you've see the urine test and the finger-stick blood reading with an electronic meter, you DO NOT KNOW if you have it or not. Period, end of story. Only the blood/urine test can reveal it.
Low T and diabetes in adult men is sort of like a "chicken and the egg" question. Does D2 cause low T? Or is it low T that causes D2?
I had low T for a number of years before I came down with D2. That's just my case. I still pee a lot, but my numbers for sugar levels are good and I drink a lot of water.
Go in and get your blood sugar tested ASAP. It's nothing to mess around with. IMHO, peeing every 2 hours is NOT normal at all.
Just to mention it, at the height of my problems, I was discharging up to 1 quart of urine about every 1/1.5 hours. Sometimes more, if I had stuff to drink, and I could NOT get enough.
But if you'd like to gamble on going blind, having impaired hearing, numb hands and feet, open sores that won't heal, loss of limbs, and heart problems, then just ignore your POSSIBLE (probable?) blood sugar level problems and keep peeing.
