chem castration and kidney cancer

Post by DavidB (imported) »

so in a post a few weeks ago i posted that after a year on chem castration, the effects became permanent.

well not sure which was the actual cause. but they found a massive tumor in my kidney will checking out the low t-thing. and you would be surprissed at how similar the side effect of the two are.

knock on wood it looks good though, they removed the kidney and appears to have not matesized at all.

Am very happy that they got the cancer in time. Sounds like you got it in time before it spread. Wish you a fast and full recovery.

I hope the kidney and androcur were not related. I have not heard of problems linking them. One never knows when you start messing with the workings of the body. If you here anything from your doctor please pass on the information to us.

Hey Bobbie:

so my docs today for post op follow up. they said that taking the anti-androgent wouldnt have been any cause, but might have slightly hidden the side effects of the cancer. they still cant figure out why i didnt show any of the standard signs

me i am a little ticked off, you are supposed to loose like 15lbs with kidney cancer and instead i gained 10, not fair.:-\

the tamaxofin didnt help any though, didnt make it worse but sure didnt help. but i only was on that for a few weeks on really low dose. it made me really tired.

Dave
