Folks, it's worth remembering that Paolo said the board will be back.

I'm probably as upset as anyone about the suspension, but Kristoff has the right of it; EA is a private space. So sit back, chill a bit and wait. In time we may hope to return to discussing the contentious issues with civility.

ve seen a lot of whining and bitching and carping about how rights have been violated, ad nauseum. Keep in mind this is a PRIVATE board – it is not the government. There is NO right of free speech here. That only applies to government. This is a moderated board. Deal with it.

At one time - before I started running forums - I might have complained about lack of Freedom of Speech, but a forum is not a democracy. It's either run by a dictator or by an oligarchy, hopefully benevolent ones. The administrators here are probably more tolerant than I am. If anyone should tell me he wants to leave, I would say, "Here, let me show you the door," and I would promptly lock it behind him. That doesn't mean I don't bend over backward to be fair, as I think the administrators here have (I wouldn't tolerate a political board on my forum), but ultimately the decision on what to allow is up to the administrators. That's the ONLY way it will work.

Although I post mostly to the political forum, I don't think that forum contributes anything of value to this site. Any discussion of politics or religion is only going to piss someone off. Maybe the EA forum should revert to discussion of its core issues, discussion of eunuch issues and stories.

I have the blog feature attached to my forum, and bloggers are allowed to talk about anything on their blogs, and can take whatever political position they want. I would imagine that's the case here. In my opinion, that's a better place for political discussions.

Keyboards are rather cheep just look around at the small mom and pop computer shops shops. You can also check with the thrift stores just make sure you know what connections you can use. If I had the money I would ship you one.

Your invitation is very tempting, even though I personally don't own a Land Rover & I'd have to borrow the vehicle from another member of my family, who lives several hundred miles away from me.

Driving said vehicle across the Atlantic & then the USA to Lake Alamo might also take some time.

I additionally don't have a rod or other fishing equipment, as I've never practised the pastime previously.

Do you have any spare stuff for me to use & time to teach me the art or will your fishing expedition be over by the time that I arrive?
