How do you jerk off a honeybee?
New Scientist October 22, 2008
Susan Cobey of UC Davis is mixing up bee genes. Most recently, she imported sperm from a European honey bee to mix its genes with her line of New World Carniolans, a subspecies of the Western honey bee.

The question is: how the hell do you get sperm from a honey bee?

Re: How do you jerk off a honeybee?
My papaw was a beekeeper and I loved working in them with him when I was little. I always felt terribly sorry for the drones. He used to put them in those tiny little wood-and-wire cages built for transporting and isolating queens so I could carry them around and play with them. Even though they couldn't feed themselves, and I knew they would die pretty soon, I always asked him to put in a little royal jelly, just in case they got ambitious and started muching away.
