Much better, thank you! It's now day 41 and my wound finally stopped dripping blood 2 days ago. So now I am wearing normal underwear without the female hygiene pads for the first time! Hurrah!
The groin pain went away in a day or two, and the cut cord ends seem to be shrinking, just like Dr. Kimmel told me they would. However, my scrotum has a great puckered dent in the middle of it that resembles a pig's asshole. Bah!
I have to agree with Hash and the rest of you that Dr. K. needs to find a replacement surgeon and then retire.
Ashley clearly has had a much worse time of it than I. I do worry about the eventual outcome for her. At one point, I wondered if I was going to have to have some additional surgery done. Let's hope that is not the case for her.
Helsinki incicated that he (she) was going to visit Kimmel very soon and have testicles and scrotum removed. I wonder how he (she) is doing?

Once the open wound has healed if you keep vaseline on the scar and keep gauze over it (to avoid a mess), and then each day massage the scrotum skin to help break down internal fibrosis this can help minimize visible scar. Allow 6 months or more. This is a slow process.
This can be a bit problematic since you will need tape to hold on the gauze and as hair grows on the scrotum removing the tape is a pain, unless you can manage to keep the area shaven. (Or perhaps create/invent some other method to keep a thick coating on scar without messing up clothing).

Thanks for the advice, but like you, I'm not sure how to implement it.
Actually, in my case, a scar is not such a bad thing since it makes the fact of my castration very obvious. Funny you should mention the hairs growing out -- they sure do poke!

When my left testicle was removed, a real surgeon, orichectomy, they made a long incision in my lower stomach, upper groin area, almost vertical, not horizontal.
While that left a big long scar, body hair hides it. If I ever get the right one removed I do not want it done through the scrotum. I would prefer that my scrotum be left on, intact, unscarred. I am quite firm on this so Dr. Kimmel would not be the one for me. Being a half eunuch with a low T level I have resigned myself to pretty much give up on having the job finished the way I want it done. Too costly, too complicated, and other than fulfilling a fantasy and desire, not much more benefit to be gained. I reserve the right to change my mind. Often.
