Do you still have sexual capacity? I've always been curious about how long that takes.

I can still get an erection (some can and some can't). However, I will say that the thrill is gone! The erection subsides rather quickly after I lose interest in it. Nocturnal erections are gone completely, however.
Since I still have some minor pain and the scrotum is not fully healed, I am reluctant to try masturbation at this point. Perhaps in another week or so, I will find out what an eunuch orgasm is like....

Good luck on your recovery.

i know it sounds like an old wives tale, but it worked for me when i had surgery on my neck. keep the scar treated frequently with Vitamen E cream and the scar will fade alot more. you may not notice it right away but you will as time passes.
i kept the cream on it several times a day for over 2 months and you can barely see a scar now, and it was nasty scar to start with

Vitamin E might help a little but my GP suggested a goop that is meant for scar reduction. Its called Maderma (Spelling might be RONG) and you need to put it on the scar several times a day for months. I think its worth the trouble. My two radical orchi scars are rather large but now... Very faint and not that easy to see.

Hey Kangan,
I had my orchi -2- days after you! I had mine on that wednesday (Oct 22nd). I had a worse issue with my sutures. They were loose like yours but mine came undone and I had to retie the top suture (thank god i'm an EMT)... on day #17, I removed the sutures and the incision site OPENED COMPLETELY!
I was scared as hell. I ended up having to go to the ER. They said it was due to the hematoma I had down there. They wouldn't re-suture it... they told me to put wet sterile gauze into the wound and a dry sterile 4x4 over that. They scheduled me an
I hope you are doing better. I am in no pain at least (for now)... I just want this over. I was so happy when I had this done and I just want it completed finally...
I am located in Pittsburgh, PA if anyone on here ever wanted to get together for lunch if anyone has questions about my "kimmel" experience. He is a nice guy. He seems to care about his patients. I think he is awesome (as an individual), but yeah... complications like this are no fun.

Ash,
Dr. Kimmel's botched sutures left me with a big vertical crevice in my scrotum from the everted skin that was pinched together. I still have a small gap where the horizontal sutures were loose. My incision loks like a hockey puck (backwards L). Kimmel really made a mess of the closure.
As for Ashley's surgery, it is clear that both the inner and the outer sutures failed.
Doctor Kimmel needs to retire before he kills somebody.

Ash,
i think you mean hockey stick, but we will have to ask IEunuch to be sure.
I am not convinced Dr. Kimmel needs to retire. Hit and miss, people have been getting infections for no apparent reason from Dr. Kimmel long before you and Ashley. People, including me, have been having moderate pain on the operating table. I have only seen one other eunuch's "results" and we both had that crevice thing going on.
Dr. Kimmel is not Dr. Spector. Dr. Kimmel has not maimed anyone. He did some bad stitching. My stitches were done six months ago and were done well. My wound was 98% closed when i took out my stitches. I blamed myself really. For catching the stitches on my clothes thus pulling them and being more active than i should have been. I figured the scrotum... probably not the easiest thing to stitch up on the body.
Am i alone in still recommending Dr. kimmel to people considering castration? If there is a great concern I think one of our Eunuch Archive Moderators should have a talk with Dr. Kimmel and find out what happened in the last six months. So we can, as a group, tell people not to go to him, or at least let them know what to expect better than we have. I would just hate to think Archive guests are being lead to believe dr kimmel is slipped and go to a cutter. Who would really put their life in danger.

Yeah - hockey stick - not puck!
Dr. Kimmel is just too old and is starting to lose it. Ashley was burned TWICE by his fumbled cauterizing attempts. Both she and I have had problems with the stitches. Several times during my surgery, Dr. Kimmel looked like he was ready to fall over. During the recovery, he laid his head down against the edge of the operating table several times like he was very fatigued. He also tends to repeat himself verbally much like someone who has early stage Alzheimer's.
