Beware the Ides of March?
And if you want to believe Shakespeare's version of the events, Mark Anthony spoke of "the unkindest cut of all". Of course, non-elective eunuchs may have their own idea of what "the unkindest cut of all" is about. And there were plenty of non-elective eunuchs back in Greek and Roman classical periods.
