I think even before going the chemical/surgical route a young man would

benefit from a lengthy relationship in whatever lifestyle he believes suits his identity. In this case the role of a submissive without surgical mods for a length of time. Why in our society would we encourage young men/women to live together before marriage(something reversable) and not other relationships with their connected lifestyle? Perhaps the dom/sub fantasy, once realized, would become completely resented and undersireable for you.

Not to say that twenty is too young and that a complete life as an adult eunuch would be not be fullfilling, I would just spend some time examining the pros/cons of the lifestyle as well as any body modification associated with that lifestyle.

Now I have a headache and must go to the gym...before...work...

Give some focus in your research and reading to the topic of BIID - "Body Integrity Identification Disorder" - also known as Apotemnophilia. The topic applies. It also applies to about 30% of folks here, if I remember the numbers correctly from the first survey. For some such folks, a trial run with chemical castration would be a good idea if their desire was to live hormone free. OTOH, those only seeking the "cosmetic" changes needed because of BIID would benefit only tangentially in terms of understanding potential effects (there are ALWAYS some effects even with replacement T). I would be far more concerned with psycho-social adjustment factors after a castration than the hormonal aspects.
