I started with the default style and was used to it as the "look and feel" of the Archive before I discovered that there were alternatives. If I'd done more exploration at the beginning, I might be using one of the others.

I've been using the default color, never thinking about changing it until this poll. I've been trying out the different colors and prefer the purple. It's almost the color of my original Gauntlet Enterprises T shirt.

Grey, blue and purple all sound good a positive change.

My favorate color is however blue.

This is a hard decision, however I am sure with what ever the decison is it will be a good decision.

So many upgrades are being made which is good, however also leave it up to the people where care about the color most.

I do not mind however I did vote, looks like at the time grey is the color, however I am not sure what the best would be, like I said I personally like blue, however purple may be more appropriate for some and offensive for others.

In case you don't know, you can change the skin and color with the box in the lower left corner that appears on each screen.

Last night I decided to give change a chance. I took a leap of faith and switched to Photo Gray Paolo. After an initial adjustment period of about 10 minutes I happily settled into this new environment.

The colors are soothing and I love the way the hyperlinks light up when 'moused'. There's really not very much Gray in this scheme, though perhaps it began life with more.

I just stuck with the V3grey like it always was. I have now tried the blue. Pretty good...not quite Univ. of KY blue but blue.

Yeah, and you get the unique icon, too.

Funny, it looks gray to me...

Then again, my screen is matched to the photo printer screen at work, which has to be as close to right as it can be.🙏

I figured if you said it was 'photo gray' it must be, Paolo. :) That's one of the problems with computer monitors. My color display may not be accurate, although the VB 3 Gray Skin looks that color to me.

With 'Photo Gray Paolo' on my monitor, the area around the 'Quick Reply' box is a light gray. The background is a medium gray. The post text areas display as more of a light grayish brown color for me. Sort of a subdued earth tone. Since I focus on the text, the color there is what I tend to notice and everything else fades into, well, the background :). That may be why I reported that there wasn't much gray in the scheme. Or else my monitor's color calibration is totally screwed up!

Anyway, overall it's very pleasing.
