So while at the doctors office I was re-giving my history to the nurse. Why his office always re-asks for history, I dont know. Maybe history will change it self one day... anyhow, I -- again -- didnt tell her of my castration. I didn't tell her because I had my neurosurgeon's nurse last year run out of the office when I finished telling her I was castrated. The neurosurgeon himself felt uncomfortable about my castration also. I still use him, he's working on my brain not my bottom parts...
So when the doctor came in he checked me over and toward the end I told him that I had left something out of my history. I told him I was castrated in 2005. He had no reaction to that.
I went on to tell him -- and I quote -- "My friends have been peer pressuring me into getting a bone density scan. Do you think I can get one?"
I was told that due to my age most insurance companies wouldnt cover it, but he'd have his nurse check into it.
A few hours later I get a call -- Cigna approved my Bone density scan because of my diagnosis (Havent a clue what he told Cigna..) and I get to have it next week... On Bobbie's 29th birthday no doubt.
WooHOO! I get to find out if I have bones and how dense I am!
I get to have my test at the Methodist Womens Breast Clinic. I'll be the only dude patient in the place that day.
Ohh -- and to prevent this thread from turning into a sympathy thread on "Im sooo sorry you're losing your job.." I also have a interview the next day.
