However most objects are not purpose-built with a single purpose as weapons.

yes you are right

I just wanted to point out things can get carried to far

What if the rifle was a collectors item and worth lots of money 20 years down the road

Kept in very good condition and un fired weapons do not always have to be used as weapons

take the play station its main purpose when it was designed was a guidance system

for air to air , surface to air missals that was capable of delivering many different munitions including nuclear

I agree though church , schools , banks especially are not places that should

Give away weapons there just to much violence associated with and or against

Those particular institutions

Both the press and the general public are known all too well for tossing around terms in all areas of life they really don't understand at all (at least in the case of the general public - with the press I'm sure they know exactly how they are misleading the public).

I have to agree 100 % with the above. All any church is about money and power.I am a recovering catholic and beleive the pope can over on a big money collection trip. Not once did he say,The church sorry for what it did to its little ones in the fold. This is not making ammends as the church of the roman collar phedaphiles preaches.
