Have My GRS Date
Hi,
I recently found out that I will be having my GRS in January of 2009 with Dr. Meltzer in Arizona. I am so excited!

First, a very sincere CONGRATULATIONS and respcts from me!
Second, a wish for your good luck and fortune. I am absolutely certain you are on the right path and I sincerly hope nothing impedes you on your journey.
Finally, I think maybe a sort of "birthday celebration" is in order for you once you have completed the GRS and recooperated from hospital.

I am so excited for you Congratulations. I kind of feel the anticipation you might be feeling too. May everything go successful and good. It is like a "second bithday" and gets me excited too. I kinda wish it was being done to me too so we could both experience it.

Re: Have My GRS Date
Thank you all for the encouragement and support. Although the wait will be anxiety-provoking, I plan on using the next six months to prepare very thoroughly for the surgery so everything is organized. It will be so nice to finally feel complete in my body.

Re: Have My GRS Date
When you have it remember Mr T's rules of pelvic surgery.
Never laugh without leaning forward! Ough!
Never sneeze without leaning forward! O U C H !
Always take your meds! Or else OUCH!
And don't forget your laxitives. (The meds plug you up...)
Good luck and do report back how it goes!
