Who Keeps Messing With The Reputation Points?

...a couple of nights ago I had 17 medals and one little dot, now one of my medals is missing and I have a bunch of those little dots instead.

At one time I had over 21 medals and somebody saw fit to remove a row or two of them.

...I mean, if somebody gives them can they take them back?

I do not understand...

The last points I messed with were Macwolfie's, and I put them all back.

It is possible that someone with a high reputation power can disapprove of your post, thus making your rep. count fall. For instance, if Kristoff gives you some, then I take it, your value falls.

As for someone being able to take it back, yes...I can approve of one post and disapprove on another. If I disapprove 2 in a row, then your value falls. Same for any user. Disapprovals adds up.

"Someone" is being very judgmental and spreading it around quite a bit. You're back at 17...

Previous medal counts were adjusted last winter for everyone when I changed the counting system to allow for higher accumulation of medals and points, etc etc etc When you went from 21 to 17 you still had the same points.

For a disapproval, you also have to send a comment with it.

That should show up in your USER CP panel.

maybe more people think they are that someone but im pretty sure im that someone, i have been giving negative feedback to things i disagree with, personal attacks, and just basically things i dont like. i gave a particular nasty one to someone to whom i apologized personally.

a1 i gave you a neg when you posted a reply to a private message in public i wasnt too thrilled about that. i am still finding my spot in this place. i will not use the negetive feedback anymore, i will bump those back to who i knocked down out of brashness. sorry to the regulars and the coucil. i will try to stay low key.

who keeps count anyway. The idea of the board is to solicit resoonses that are relavent and current.
