The "New Stories"?

Post by John (imported) »

Hello!

I have seen that the old page with New Stories will close but still you linked to it when pressing the button on the entry-page instead of to the new "New stories" page, when will the linking be updated?

That should be fixed now, or at least will be fixed the next time the main page refreshes the 'new stories' feed. Say no more than an hour.

The feature "Get Index" for stories seems to be still broken. No matter what we plug into the form (number of days) it does not bring up the index of new stories.

Site managers probably know about this but just in case, wanted to bring it to your attention.

Thanks!

It seems to work alright for me. I plug in the number, hit the button, and the page refreshes with a much longer list of stories. (Ok, there's still a "7" in the field, but typing in 60 gets stories back to April 7.)

Hi,

I have been a member since spring of 1997. That under a number of names. That due to Yahoo, and Excite deleting many of us who also were involved in castration Groups on their parts of the web. Back then there seemed to be fewer people writing then today. All told I posted between 125, and 200 stories here. What with computer crashes, Power losses, etc. etc, etc. and a number of old computers over the years that never transferred their stories to the new ones, I find myself with NO copies of all those stories.

I will be 66 next Jan., and I have nothing to show for all those stories. So I am asking for a way to get at the older stories, so I can copy as many of my works as I can find. So how do I go about getting to the 1997 stories to say 2006? [email protected]

First of all, go here:

http://www.eunuch.org/main/index.php?special=stories

That's the story index main page.

If you recall the title, look for the respective letter in the appropriate table.

If you recall the author name you posted it under, look under that letter in the Author Table.

For example, if you posted as "Sal" as the author, pull up the "S" page of the Author Table. Scroll down until you see the story. Click on it. When the story loads, in your browser, go to FILE and SAVE AS. When the dialog box opens, save it as COMPLETE WEB PAGE and you now have a copy of it on your hard drive.

Paolo, you have probably given me up for dead! Had to change my service provider. I know we've a lot to discuss. My e-mail address starts as before but now ends @btinternet.com. Hope to hear from you. C.
