my favorite joke

this isn't a joke but a somewhat funny occurrence involving me a couple of weeks ago.

My friend and I went to get lunch at taco stand and while inline this little old lady starts talking to me. Imagine in your minds eye the sweetest old nanny you can. She turns to me and says in a soft grandma voice, "Excuse me sir, do you have a 50 cent piece?" A bit taken off guard, i had to think for a minute but i remembered i actually had one in my truck. I told her that i had one and I asked what it was for. She said it was for a present for her granddaughter, she was going to make a little thing where there is a penny nickle dime quarter and all she needed was a 50 cent piece. I went to my truck and got it for her. I handed it to her and she lit up and said "Ohh thank you thank you." Then she reached in her pocket and picked out two quarters to compensate me. Kidding of course, as she handed me the quarters I looked at her straight faced and said, "No no no, that'll cost you $4.50."

we all laughed and i just i just gave it to her.
