Wednesday Schedule Chats

It seems like there are very few people joining in on the Schedule Chats on Wednesday. I'm not sure if it is the day of the week or time of day, but the turnout has been low.

I have been to every Wednesday Schedule Chat so far, at least for a portion of them, Last nights Schedule Chat was a flop, in the 30 minutes I was in 2 people showed up, and left right away.

Maybe we should consider changing the time or day. I have noticed that the amount of users usually peaks around 2:00AM GMT

The Sunday scheduled chat hasn't been overwhelming either.

I missed yesterday's chat as I had an AA committment to care of. I'll be missing next Wednesday's chat and the next two Sundays' chats as I will be on vacation.

2:30 PM PST on Thursday 7 February. I just visited the chat forum. 17 people were listed as present. None of them were in the four chat rooms when I arrived, although three showed up later in the main chat room.

Conclusion: Most of the activity in the chat forum is private chats. I don't know why, but there it is.

At that, even when I am asked to a private chat, it does not last long. I am often asked what I am into. I assume this means some sort of fantasy, or sex scene. Things go downhill when I explain that I am now totally non-sexual, prefer to enjoy The Eunuch calm, and have no interest whatso ever in any kind of sex scene or fantasy scene or penectomies. Like my signature says, I am interested in eunuch health issues and other aspects of enjoying life as a eunuch. They must be tremendously dissapointed to try and chat with a real eunuch.

I for one can't REMEMBER when the chats are. Someone should buzz me and remind me on Wednesdays and Sundays ... heh. I NEED a secretary, bad!

The problem of private chat, which really isn't a problem as long as the chatters are having fun, has been ongoing since the addition of the first chats with that feature to the Internet. A LOT of people are afraid to talk in public, I believe. Also, keep in mind that the chat room here is NOT limited to Members only. Anyone who can find the page can join the chat.

It's also pretty much obvious that a lot of people who aren't regulars that we know from the Boards here ARE indeed looking for a sexual fantasy, or seeking some nice text to whack off with. There's really nothing wrong with this either, as long as no one tries to pass off fantasy or lies as the truth. This could end up getting someone, especially a newbie to the castration issue, hurt or worse. It's pretty much like spinning the old roulette wheel when you go to chat. You can only hope you get lucky, and if someone "falls off" the chat or leaves, well, don't take it TOO personally.

I, for one, made some VERY good friends in the EA chat room back in 97, and I cherish them to this day. THEY know who they are.
