Re: Deep fried pickles
Yes. I have them like every five years.
But the "fresh pack" pickles, the ones you have to keep refregirated taste much better then the regular "limp" ones.

Yoli The Food Editor here!
Re the pikkles, (heh!); Don't knock 'em 'til you try 'em.
Actually, I have a thing for fried green tomatos and crunchy deepfried eggplant (cut like Freedom Fries,) but those have to be eaten fast or they get limper than a eunuch's peepee.
So far as the fried ballsies go, read my post on that topic in Eunuch Central.
Can you say "Yummo!"?

I am firmly of the opinion that eggplant should be banned in civilized nations. --FLO--

I'll go with the Flo on this one as I've never found anything savory about eggplant. Then again, I am a picky eater as I avoid raw onions, artichokes, brussel sprouts, asparagus and radishes.
I do adore okra, spinach, broccoli, peas, corns, almost any kind of bean, lettuce, tomato, cabbage, carrots, etc.
I'm not fond of dill pickles but I'll try frying sweet ones in batter and see how they turn out.
Thanks sag

Re: Deep fried pickles
yes eggplant is an abomination
apart from that I avoid having food that's deep fried, occasionally I will have fish and chips from a local takeaway but that's only if I can't be bothered cooking.
