Prostate shrinkage

Post by ArtaXerxes (imported) »

Hi there,

Is it true that the prostate will dissapear after full castration.

How long does it take after castration? Will it shrink away even when one is on T treatment?

Thing is, I havn't had an orgasm for months now because I can't get an errection. My penis is to knumb to feel anything so I decided to buy a vibrator and try prostate stimulation. But, I can't seem to find the damn thing! I've read everywhere how to do it and where it is situated. I do find a liiiitle sensation somewhere but it goes away as soon as it came.

What's the scoop? 😠

Thanx a million

Peace 🙏

The prostate will not disappear when you are on a castration drug or after castration. It is true that it can reduce greatly in size in most guys and often produce little fluid. One of the most common reasons for a guy to get castration drugs or to be castrated is for medical reasons is to reduce the size and function of the prostrate. The prostrate gland is very sensitive to the male hormone testosterone. When T levels are reduced in the body it will become far less active. This less active helps reduce the spread of the cancer of the prostrate and often makes the cancer dormant. Another reason can be to reduce the size of the prostrate to help the flow of urine. Enlarged prostrate can cause blockage on the urethra.

The time to reduce the size will vary with each person.

If you are castrated and receiving testosterone at the same levels as you had, the prostrate will remain at the same size and function the same.

Thanx Bobbie,

So orgasm is still possible after castration? Is it difficult to massage the prostate to reach an orgasm? I go on for at leat 1 /2 - 2 hours and nothing happens.

Now THAT'S FRUSTRATION!!

Again everyone is different in orgasm. I know some that can get off rather fast without any T. Others say that it takes hours and that it is very short and disappointing. You can not base what you will have on what others have. Your body is yours alone and reacts like only yours will respond. As a person ages the body changes as well. Think most guys will tell you that they do not cum the same when they are in the 60's as they did when in their teens. The prostrate will be harder to locate due to the change in size. The amount of sensitive may be far less with out T. I am sure there are a good number of guys that have lost there penis and testicles due to injury or medical condition. They can still reach orgasm with just prostrate stimulation. So think that should help some.

Once I was castrated, I found out I needed and still need "testosterone" to get an orgasm. I use low amounts of "t" and I can still get orgasms, though it takes longer, but not more than 5 to 10 minutes. If I use the prescribed amount of "t" orgasms are fast and powerful, but I get out of control on the prescribed amount. I think that if you are unable to get an orgasm since your castration, you will need to add some "testosterone," but that the beauty of being castrated, you can control the amount of "t." Hash

P.S. I need a small amount of "t" to prevent depression.

I have been castrated almost 16 years now

My prostate atrophied to !/2 inch across from 1-1/2 inches in about 8 months.

I was not on hormone replacement during that time

I had orgasms and the amount of semen during that 8 months was smaller and smaller amounts each time.

I was greatly fatigued after the 8 months all the time so the doctor put me on testaderm then androgel.

In all those years since the prostate never grew back at all ....it has stayed 1/2 inch across...everytime I get my prostate examined I am told the prostate is incredibly small.

The hrt gives me a huge libido ...lots of energy and huge muscles....the amount of semen is still almost non existent... The last 2 years my penis does not get hard enough for intercourse.

dont know if that is related to castration or just getting older.
