and read through it. I think I understand better how some people paint the press so poorly. Note how whoever wrote this combines criminal cutters with volentary eunuchs and transexual issues all as one group who the author clearly thinks is insane. And then this comment "The desire to be castrated isn't recognised by the medical establishment, so for Zee there is no hospital in which he can recuperate. He has to rely on his mum for after-care in a hotel room."
Huh? so its out in the street for Zee! Orchiectomy is not "accepted"? Ahh... do I need to post my post op photo in the hospital to disprove this? Really sad...
Maybe people who write should write what they know about. Or at least report the facts and let people draw their own conclusions...
I have seen this article before. It took a while for the page to come up. I'm also find it upsetting the way Zz's picture and name are used in the article.
No matter what the topic the press cover they do it to make money, the truth is only a minor concern. I do not buy newspapers and I feel sorry for people who they report on. I would never believe a word they write. I am uncomfortable discussing news topics with people based on what I, or they have read. I would even double check the sport results! They like sensational reports and they appeal to the perceived popular opinion of their readers. It would be very easy to become angry about their mode of operation but then you realise it is not worth it and the better tactic is to ignore them, no greater insult can you bestow on a gossip or
rumour monger than total indifferece to their tattle.
I feel that the ability to talk openly about one's choices and opinion is of upmost value.
The fact that I have chosen to share my story in as many ways as possible causes great happiness for me. However for anyone to take some ones words and manipulate them into a botched recollection of falsification is a crime.
I can understand how some may wish to lay dormant in an effort to silence any miss conceptions of our community. However this global community is based on freedom of speech. So lets Share, Learn & grow from the words that bombard us on a daily bases. My hope is for understanding and realization to come from others reading about my life experiences. If being compared to insane people is a way to get others interested, than so be it.

Thank god i am happy with myself.
I think your a brave person to expose yourself to all this and I thank you for your bravery and honesty.
I think they could have made it more positive rather than negative, Rick was a retired Surgicial PA, even though he was unlicensensed during the time he had much more knowledge and know how than the cutters and regulars, as for Dr Kimmel he is a licensend M.D. still, however has slowed way down apparantley.
Especially in the US where many think the person has a mental condition just for wanting to have the testicles removed, it is all wrong, or when a person has low testosterone it is looked at as a mental condition.
Some progression has been made in the medical community for TRT, in the USA we have too much contorversay.

I agree. Way too much drama! And curious you say that low testosterone is seen as a mental condition. I know first hand that showing symptoms of low testosterone is nearly an exact match for mental depression. My Doctor said so and added "Hormone issues often look like mental illness so lets check that before we talk about treatment" In other words I ducked "Prozac" when my doctor was smart enough to check my Thyroid and other hormones. THANK GOD for good Doctors!
