less effects using androcur second time

Post by Jean Op den Kamp (imported) »

Hi,

December last year I started with Androcur 50. Taking 2x 50mg daily I got a good effect in less then two weeks. So I came down to 50 mg + 25mg a day

More clear looking ejaculation and far less the normal. No morning erection and a lost of sexual interest.

As I run out of Androcur (just one packedge of 50 tablets) I had to stop

It took just little less then a month to become "normal" again (if that's ever possible for me)

Now I'm back in Asia and I can buy Androcur just arround the corner for

26euro / 50pc and on March 1, I started again taking the tablets. Altough I increced the dosis to 2 times 100mg a day it toke nearly 3 weeks to get any result. This moment I am using 250mg daily. Ok, there is result. Clear looking ejaculation of minimum volume, but it is still easy to get an erection and the lost of sex drive isn't wat it was the first time

For me, this kind of becoming insensitive to any medicine is a normal reaction.

As for antihistamticums I run out of possibility's. Antibiotics are a problem and so on. But it is also normal for that type of medicines to become less effective. Does anyone know if it is normal that you become less sensitive to Androcur and if yes, how far can this go.

With regards Nomorehotbutt 😄(nomorehotmailbutyahoo)😄

Hello

Different with me. I am on and off with Androcur and I have not noticed anything like you. I lose sexual interest within usually 2-3 weeks and am starting always with 2 x 50mg for 10 days, then 3 x 50mg for 5 days and then back to 1 x 50mg and 1 x 25mg per day for as long as I feel it is necessary. I am now on my 3rd re-entry and I have less side effects this time but get what I need and want. We are all different.

Note that higher doses of Androcur have higher risks!

Also, check into your drug source. Since it is different you could be getting a diluted version. Just a thought, but, people make a lot of money selling cheap drugs. Is it a knock off?

Try to get a "sure" source next time and see if that helps.

Thanks Unuktobe,

But it is the same androcur from the same compagnie and bought at the same store

I also realise the higher risks by incresing the doses. I am back to 2x 50 mg and going to reduce to 50 + 25 mg.

I will find out if that keeps me on low production

Most people that I have talked with found that 100mg will work for a good number of guys. 150mg a day takes care of almost all the rest. Very few need to take more then 150mg to reach the desired effects. Higher dose increases risk of liver problems and needs to be watch far more closely. Would be smart to try to reduce your dose if at 250mg back 50 mg for 2-3 weeks and see if you are still getting the desired effects. Keep backing off till you start to not getting the desired results. You will find the best dose for you that way. You want to take as little as need to reach the desired effects.

Today a had a look at the site of inhousepharmacy.com to check the price of androcur50.

They don't sell androcur anymore but you still can get the same

cyproteroneacetate 50mg as Siterone and that is cheaper then androcur

I buy androcur50 in Vietnam at 0,80 usd. Siterone at inhousepharmacy cost 1,20 usd

With the new name Siterone I visited my pharmacy today and they will try to find Siterone for me. When I can get it, I will let you know about the costs

They couldn't find Siterone for me this moment. This means we will have different people ask for it at several pharmacy many times. Within maybe half a year they will have Siterone.

I am on androcur for over 5 weeks now and the result is about 80% OK for me

Seems that it doesn't matter to much if I take a higher or a lower dosis.

So for this moment I 'm going down to 1 times 50mg a day and will see what effect that brings in some weeks

As for the side effects, maybe they will come at a later date, but nothing so far this moment. I feel OK, same energie and I mannaged to loose 4,5 kg over the past 6 weeks. That was a hard job, like it has always been, so I see no difference by the androcur usage.

i started on androcur around a month ago to curb my libido. i am currently on 200mg, but despite a mild curb in sexual desire, i havent noticed any major effects yet. im not sure if i should up my dose or not.

also, does anyone know anything about the androgen called 'androsterone'? what does it control etc.

Androcur is a brand name for cyprotetone acetate. There is a new brand name on the market called siterone sold by inhousedrugstore. Here is the link for the USA customers.

http://www.inhousedrugstore.com/mens-he ... erone.html

I have no idea on the quality of the drug obtained from Vietnam. Hearing some stories from the eastern countries I would be rather worried on the quality of what I would be taking.
